27 years in the non-profit field, helping save and improve lives in both Utah and Idaho by  greatly increasing organ donation registrations.

Propelled Utah and Idaho into the top five donor registries in the country, thanks to forming partnerships with many public entities, businesses, legislators, and media outlets. This was accomplished this on a non-profit budget and small staff.

Conceptualized  the on-line Yes Utah Donor Registry, www.yesutah.org, which now has 82% of the population of Utah signed up to be organ and tissue donors. 

Have lobbied for, and passed, numerous bills in both the Utah and Idaho Legislatures to help further the cause of organ, eye and tissue donation, demonstrating the ability to “work across the aisle."  Alex has solid knowledge of the legislative process to help get Weber County more resources from the State Legislature.

Taught Political Science course at Salt Lake Community College as an adjunct professor for ten years.
